Who Am I?
I have always been passionate about people and started this blog because I was so frustrated at the poor quality business networking that I saw time and again. So, who am I? Well I’m an eclectic mix of this and that! If you want the wacky, then I was a dancing cardinal in the last Monty Python film, The Meaning of Life! Yes, I can be seen doing high kicks somewhere in the sketch on Catholicism! I can tightrope walk, tap dance, write 100 words a minute shorthand, speak schoolboy Russian, have a can do attitude to life and spent 20 years in mainstream journalism before establishing, growing and selling two businesses (with a third on the way). I have taught crisis media management in the oilfields of Kazakhstan, been interrogated by Russian border police and have travelled the world from Kathmandu in Nepal to the frozen interiors of Siberia; at the time of writing, I am penning these words in the New Mexican desert! Life is for living and it’s about being happy. However, tune into people, understand them, observe them, listen, watch and speak in equal measure, and you WILL learn something to your advantage and, dependent on your aims in life, you have the option to be richer, more successful, more travelled or, simply, happier. I hope you enjoy reading some of my thoughts and I look forward to hearing from you. Love and luck to all who pass this way.
